You run the test.
Attestaro writes up the evidence.

Import the protocol, follow the steps, press a key. Screenshot, SHA-256 hash and outcome land in the Word document while you work.

Import the protocol from a file you already have:

  • .xml
  • .xlsx
  • .csv
  • .docx
  • .pdf PDF experimental

From protocol to document in three moves

No pasting screenshots, no formatting at the end of the day.

1

Import

Load the protocol from XML, Excel, CSV, Word or PDF (PDF is experimental). You review the tree it read, fix it and approve it: only then does it enter the project.

2

Execute

An always-on-top guide shows the action and expected result of each step. Capture with a button or a hotkey, then Pass or Fail.

3

Deliver

The Word document fills itself with images, outcomes and capture details. When you are done, export a package with the hashes and a script to re-run the check.

Features, one by one

What Attestaro does from the protocol to the delivered document.

Start from the protocol you already have

You rewrite nothing: you import the file and Attestaro builds the tree of tests and steps.

  • Import from XML, Excel, CSV, Word and PDF (PDF is experimental).
  • Columns are recognised even without a header, in Italian or English; if it cannot find them, you match them yourself.
  • Before importing you see everything in a review window: fix it, drop the wrong rows and approve. Nothing enters without your approval.
  • Doubtful rows are flagged, for example those with no expected result. With PDF the warning always stays, even after your fixes.
  • The hash of the imported file is written to the operation log.

Let it guide you, step by step

An always-on-top panel tells you what to do and what to expect, and keeps track of where you are.

  • You see the action and expected result of the current step and how many are left.
  • Capture with the button or the hotkey. The panel hides itself, so it never ends up in the screenshot.
  • Pass or Fail record the outcome and move to the next step. With Fail you describe the result you got.
  • You can skip a step, go back and restart from the first one still open.
  • A second hotkey captures just an area of the screen.

Evidence that stands up to an audit

Traceability is inside the tool, not added afterwards. Try tampering with the log next to this text.

  • Each image has its own SHA-256 hash, computed at capture time, with date, user and window.
  • The operation log is a chain: each line carries the hash of the previous one, so changing one breaks all the following.
  • A test closed with its outcome becomes read-only: nobody changes it by mistake.
  • With "Verify integrity" you re-check images and log whenever you like.
Operation log

    Who executed, who approved

The document says who did what and when, without you rebuilding it by hand.

    • When the guide starts you enter the executor's name and role. Each Pass or Fail remembers who executed it and when.
    • In Word, "Executed by" appears under every step. At the end there is a summary of executors, with steps and period.
    • You can enter the approver or leave the space to fill in.
    • Every page can carry a footer with executor, signature and date.
    • The name is used to fill in the document: the signature stays the one you apply, by hand or with your systems' electronic signature.

A document that fills itself, a clean handover

Word grows with every capture. At the end everything is ready for whoever has to check it.

    • Word updates with every capture. Before each change a backup is kept (number and folder of your choice).
    • Export the PDF or a delivery package: document, images, log and a manifest with the SHA-256 hash of every file.
    • The package includes the VERIFICA_INTEGRITA.ps1 script: whoever receives it re-runs the check on their own.
    • Undo and Redo apply to changes to the test tree.

    And also

    Capture-only

A quick mode saves images to a folder, with a CSV index and hashes, without a project.

    Italian and English

Interface and Word document in the language you choose, even different from each other.

    All on your PC

No account, no cloud, no data sent anywhere.

    A single file

Copy it and run it: no complicated installation.

What Attestaro is notIt is a support tool, not a validated system. Running the test, judging each outcome and validating the process remain the responsibility of the person doing it. That is why every import goes through your approval.

    Frequently asked questions

What do I need to install?

Nothing complicated: a single program for Windows 10/11. Generating the document requires Microsoft Word.

    Where does my data go?

On your computer. The app sends nothing and needs no account. I only receive the feedback you decide to send me.

Can I import my own protocol?

Yes, from XML, Excel, CSV, Word and PDF. You always see the tree it read and approve it before it enters the project. PDF is experimental: tables extracted from a PDF need extra care.

How does the trial licence work?

You receive a digitally signed file by email, valid for 90 days. The app checks it on your computer, without connecting to the Internet.

    What happens after 90 days?

The licence expires: you can still open and export finished projects, but you cannot create new projects or capture. We will agree the next terms together.

    Is it GxP compliant?

Attestaro supports evidence collection, but it is neither a validated nor a certified system: the compliance of your process depends on how you use and validate it.

    Who is behind it?

A pharmaceutical-industry professional who built the tool he wished he had during validations.
