Beta programme terms
Version 2026-10-31. The Italian text is the reference. Those admitted also accept them in the program, at first start.
In short
- The beta is free and lasts 90 days from delivery of the licence.
- There are 15 places in total, assigned by evaluating applications. Submitting the form does not guarantee admission.
- The licence is personal, non-transferable and time-limited. On expiry you can still open and export projects already created, but not make new captures.
Licence and restrictions
- I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to try and evaluate Attestaro as part of the beta.
- You may not copy, distribute, assign, rent or make available to others the program or your licence, or use them to provide services to third parties.
- You may not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, nor modify the program, except to the extent that mandatory law allows it.
- You may not circumvent, alter or remove the licence, the validity checks or other protection measures of the program.
- The program, the name and the logo remain mine. The beta gives you no ownership rights.
How it must be used
- Attestaro is a support tool, provided "as is", with no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- It is neither a validated nor a certified system. Running the tests, judging the outcomes, checking imported protocols and validating your own process according to your organisation's rules remain the user's responsibility.
- Before using it on a company's documentation, check that you are authorised to do so.
- Before using it on important projects, keep a copy of your files (project, log and Word document).
Data
- The app works on your computer and sends no data to me.
- Do not send me confidential company data or personal data of other people, not even in screenshots or files attached to feedback. When reporting a problem, hide the sensitive parts first.
- I process your data as described in the privacy notice.
Limitation of liability
- The beta is free and the program is under development. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, time or profit, audit or inspection outcomes or findings, or damages arising from use that does not comply with these terms.
- Also to the extent permitted by law, my total liability to you for the beta is excluded, except in case of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Feedback and case studies
- Those admitted commit to trying the beta, giving regular feedback on defects and features and carrying out a case study during the trial. You allow me to use your suggestions to improve the product, without payment.
- The case study stays between us and can be anonymous. A public case study naming the company is made only with your written consent.
Suspension and end
- I may suspend or end the beta or a licence at any time, with notice where possible, including if you breach these terms.
- When the beta or the licence ends you keep the files you created; the program can then only open and export.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. The programme is offered by the controller named in the privacy notice.
