Privacy notice

Version 2026-10-31. Notice under Articles 13-14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). The Italian version is the reference text.

Data controller

Raffaele Braccini, natural person. Contact for any request: [email protected].

What data I collect

Only what you enter in the application form (or write in an email, if you prefer to write to me): full name, work email address, company and the range of protocols you handle in a year, together with the confirmations you give (commitment to try the beta, give feedback and carry out a case study) and the date and version of this notice. If you are admitted, I also keep the details of the licence I issue you (code, licensee, email, dates) and the feedback you send me.

The site uses no profiling cookies or analytics tools. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile against spam, which may process technical data from your browser and your IP address; to serve the pages, the hosting provider processes technical connection data under its own policies.

Why and on what basis

Providing the form data is optional, but without it I cannot evaluate your application. I do no profiling or automated decision-making.

How long

Applications are stored in the site's database (Cloudflare) and I handle them from a protected personal computer, with no copies on company systems. If the application is not accepted, I delete it within 12 months of submission. If you take part in the beta, I keep the data for the duration of the beta and the following 12 months, unless agreed otherwise. If you gave consent to be contacted, until you withdraw it. You may ask for deletion at any time.

Who it is shared with

I do not sell or transfer your data. It is processed on my behalf by Cloudflare, Inc. (site hosting, storage of applications, anti-spam protection and email forwarding) and by Resend (sending confirmation and notification emails), as well as by the email provider I use to receive and answer your messages. Some processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, with the safeguards provided by the GDPR (adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses).

Your rights

You may ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing, by writing to [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (garanteprivacy.it) or your local authority.

What not to send me

In emails, feedback, screenshots and files you send me, do not include confidential company data or personal data of other people: I do not need them. When reporting a problem, hide the sensitive parts first.
